Feel for yourself- breast lump display
Description: Emphasising the importance of breast self-awareness through breast self-exam (BSE), clinical exams, and mammography, this display (28 cm x 22 cm) uses lifelike lumps made of BIOLIKE 2™ synthetic material to show the average size of breast lumps that are first discovered by untrained BSE, by occasional BSE, by regular BSE, by a first mammogram, and by regular mammography. Interactive lumps can be picked up and felt. Great for women’s health fairs, clinics, and breast cancer awareness events. |

HPV and cervical cancer lesson plans
Teenage Cancer Trust has worked with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to produce 2 lesson plans aimed at raising awareness of HPV, the importance of the vaccination and screening. Lesson 1 is designed to be taught to y8/s1 students, ideally prior to being offered the HPV vaccine, to encourage understanding and open discussion about the HPV vaccination. Lesson plan 2 is designed to be taught to year 10/s3 and above, to remind students about the implications of HPV, importance of the vaccination and how screening can help. Diseases of the Lung- anatomical chart/poster [laminated]
This laminated anatomical chart provides a simple, visual overview of common diseases that affect the human lung and respiratory system.
