Joining the Library -  TRFT NHS staff, students, and NHS Clinical Effectiveness Team

Register to join the Library via YorCat
If you would like to join the Library at Rotherham NHS Trust you can do so via the YorCat library Catalogue.  The Rotherham Library & Knowledge service is now part of YorCat, a consortium of health libraries across Yorkshire and the Humber.

Joining the Library will generate your library membership number and password which will enable you to search the YorCat library catalogue to request books from any of the participating libraries to be sent to this library for you to borrow.

How many books can I borrow and for how long?

Our resources can be borrowed by all staff and students working in TRFT and students and doctors on placement including items from our collection of IT and Display Equipment.

Our standard loan period for books and health education resources is four weeks. You may borrow up to ten items at a time.  Books will automatically renew five times unless they are requested by another borrower or you have reached your renewal limit.  You will then need to return the items or see a member of staff to reissue should you require them for longer.

Please contact us to renew other equipment and resources.  These items can also be booked out in advance.

Search our online catalogue to find out what we've got.  If we don't have the item you're looking for, we offer an interlibrary loan service.  We're also always glad to receive suggestions for new items for the collections: please contact us with your ideas.
