Ultraviolet (UV) light detecting beads UV-AST (Assorted)
Audience: Children, Young people and adults (Not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts)
Description: Indicates exposure to ultraviolet light from the sun and other sources.
Pack includes approx 250 beads that can be used to make accessories like bracelets (string not included) or simply used in demonstrations. They contain a colour changing pigment that will cycle from white to bright colours quickly once exposed to the sun or other UV light source. They are not affected by all types of visible light- only UV light.

Convenient portable disk set is ideal for showing the differences among skin lesions, including those that are cancerous.
