Library refurbishment

1/22/2020

You might have seen the graffiti wall (i.e. large piece of paper and a pen) outside the Library on D Level at Rotherham Hospital.  We're starting 2020 by dreaming big and gathering ideas about how we might refresh the library space and facilities to make it work for staff and patients in the coming years.  Add your thoughts to the graffiti wall, this blog or just drop us an email: [email protected].  What would you like to see?  How can we improve?

We've been dreaming, but we've also been grafting! While we sketch out ideal environments we're cleaning, moving, weeding and shifting to make the library space easier to use, more welcoming and lighter and brighter.  You'll notice we've moved lots of journals to our store room so we can make our books easier to browse (and reach!) and we've relocated a sofa to give you somewhere to crash out on just inside the door.  Keep watching the space: more improvements are coming.....
