We're holding a week of events and activities, online and in our libraries, to showcase our wide range of information services.  If you're already a member of the library come along to find out what's new.  Never used us before?  We'd love to meet you and to show you how we can bring you the evidence you need. 

Everyone who connects with one of our services (online or in person at one of our open days) during Rotherham NHS Library & Knowledge Week will be automatically entered into our prize draw.  Cakes, sweets and freebies, plus expert library and knowledge services: join us!

Monday

Virtual Library Services: Bringing the Evidence to You

We're starting the week by promoting our virtual and outreach library services and evidence at the point of care.

• Find out more about our Clinical Question Answering Service and Evidence-based Digests

• Invite us to your workplace to provide training, discuss your information needs or have a Knowledge MOT

Tuesday

RCHC Open Day 10am - 3pm

• 10:00 'Could exercise be as effective as medication?’  Find out about the evidence behind health news in our ‘Hitting the Headlines’ training session in the RCHC IT Training Room
  
  
• 12:00 - 14:00 Coffee and cake drop-in at the Knowledge Hub (first floor) - freebies and goody bags available!  Sign up for a Knowledge MOT and know that you’re getting the evidence you need.
  
  
• 14:00  AnatomyTV training session in the RCHC IT Training Room
  
  
• 15:30 DynaMed training session in the RCHC IT Training Room
  
  
• We'll also be out and about at the Rotherham Hospital PGME event, and at Oak House for the GPST session.  
  
  
• Today we will be launching three new e-book collections for GPs, doctors in training and nurse prescribers. You can also sign up for new book alerts in your specialist area.
  

Wednesday

Rotherham Hospital Library Open Day, D Level 10am - 3pm

• Meet the team and try our photo competition!
  
  
• Tour the library and see how we provide the space and facilities you need to work, reflect and learn
  
  
• Join us for coffee and cake over lunchtime
  
  
• Book a Knowledge MOT and know that you’re getting the evidence you need
  
  
• Try out taster sessions on DynaMed, ebooks, ejournals, AnatomyTV 
  
  
• View our stands on literature searching and keeping-up-to-date services
  
  
• Sign up for our Library & Knowledge Service Revalidation/Portfolio Service.
  

Thursday

Oak House Open Day 10am - 3pm

• Meet the team, explore the library and see how we provide the space and facilities you need to work, reflect and learn

Bringing it all together

We'll be wrapping up the week by sending out our Annual Survey.  Everyone who completes the survey goes into the prize draw!  Complete our survey online today.
