Child and Maternal Health Observatory (ChiMat) - The National Child and Maternal Health Observatory (ChiMat) provides snapshot of child health and well-being for each local council in England using key health indicators, which enables comparison locally, regionally and nationally. Contains information on infant mortality profile and child health profile. You can choose from two profiles: infant mortality profiles for primary care trusts (PCTs) and child health profiles for local authorities. iView ChiMat is a service that allows access to more detailed information on the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and workforce data (which includes includes both the medical and non-medical workforce). It enables users to make selections, view comparisons, create tables, generate graphs and extract child and maternal health data.
